Yakov has worked as a consulting engineer since 1992. Yakov is a graduate of the Moscow Academy of Civil Engineering and is a Professional Engineer licensed in New York and a NYC Qualified Parking Structures Inspector (QPSI) . Yakov specializes in structural design, roofing, façade restoration, project management, building reports, and forensic engineering.

Josh has been with SW Engineering for over 14 years, specializing in façade restoration and vault/sidewalk replacement. Josh heads our affiliated Special Inspection division (SWL Engineering Inspections) and works on a variety of different projects. Josh is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Michigan, a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI), and a Special Inspector. Josh graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University.

Levon has been with SW Engineering for over 13 years, specializing in façade restoration and structural renovations. Levon is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York state and a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI). Levon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The City University of New York and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Manhattan College of New York.

Thomas has been with SW Engineering for over 8 years, specializing in structural engineering and façade restoration. Originally from North Carolina, Thomas graduated from North Carolina State University with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering with a concentration in structural engineering and mechanics. Thomas is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Ed has worked as a consulting engineer performing engineering services since 1988 and also has prior experience as a construction supervisor and mechanical designer. He has degrees in Engineering Science and Electrical Technology, is a Professional Engineer licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional, a Certified in Plumbing Engineer, and is a NYC Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI). Ed specializes in film production engineering and MEP systems and also has extensive experience in roof and façade restoration.
